Memorial Day 2008

Wow, what a day!  The Memorial Day festivities turned out to be a tremendous community event.  The Roman Forest SEC group brought in a total income of $1,552.77, and spent $582.28 on producing the event-- a  net profit of $970.49!  That is a great start toward the July 2009 fireworks.  The Cub Scouts raised $164 on their bake sale.  I have a couple of hundred pictures I've uploaded.  Below are some highlights.  The pictures are of the car show,  hot dog contest winners, raffle winners, babies, volunteers, and community members that helped make the event a success.  This page may take a while to load if you are dial-up.  If anyone sees any picture of which they would like a high-resolution copy, just contact me at jillcarlson@nctv.com and I'll send it to you via e-mail.
