Aliceville Public Library, Aliceville, Alabama.

I worked at Aliceville Public Library from October 2001 until May 24, 2004.  While employed there I worked on all of their computer systems.  There were two workstations and three public use computers at the time I started work there.  We used a LAN and offered Internet access.  I was the only computer support.  I worked on the web site and fixed any problems that arose from the public using the computers.  I also did general data entry of materials, sent out mass mailers of requests for money and late fines, set up a database for late books and books requests.

Eubank & Latham, Aliceville, Alabama.

I worked at Eubank and Latham as a consultant for about six months, starting in July of 2001.  I came in to update their computers and network.  I oversaw the installation of a satellite Internet package.  I created binders that included drivers and model and serial numbers of all components on each computer in the office for future upgrades.

Colby Furniture, Hamilton, Alabama.

I worked at Colby Furniture from Febuary 2000 until June 23, 2000. I was in house technical support and network administrator. I also created graphic logos for several different companies that my boss at the time had started.  I worked on their website and new web catalog for sales representatives.  This started as a temporary position.

SouthNet, Inc., An Internet Service Provider, Hamilton, Alabama.

I worked as technical support from June 1997 until October 14, 1999. I answered technical questions via telephone and email, mostly about Internet problems. As a small company we also offered work on hardware and software on all types of computers. I worked with a LAN system and customized Internet Explorer software for the company.  I also did some data entry of new customers.

The University of North Alabama, Florence, Alabama.

I was employed as a Computer Lab Assistant in the dorms at UNA from October 1994 through March 1997. I assisted students with the computer systems in the lab, kept printers and other systems in working order and scanned and defragmented the hard drives on a regular basis. I also kept five online computers in working order with Pine, Gopher, Lynx and the World Wide Web. Laid off due to lack of personal Student Financial Aid.
