Since it's inception in 1995, The Power Trio has been able to hang on in the Texas Music Industry

and stay alive in a very dog eat dog world.  Airplay, statewide touring, a nationally televised PBS appearance,

and a faithful following thru the years kept the band going and going and going...

Shows across Texas at such venues and events as Montage in Downtown Dallas,  The Hot Pepper Festival in

Palestine, The Great Texas Balloon Race in Longview, Lone Star Fourth at Grand Prairie, Fredericksburg, Texas'

150th Birthday Anniversary Festival, Maggie Mae's, The Flamingo Cantina and Babe's, all on Austin's Historic

Music Mecca 6th Street, down to Tycoon Flats in San Antonio, out to Steel Penny Pub of San Angelo, Bob's in Abilene, and

a ton more that made this act a tried and true Texas roadhouse act.

Thru the years the players changed, the sound changed, the show locations changed and the name eventually changed

from The Gary Delz Power Trio to The Texas Power Trio, but one thing stayed the same, people

kept coming back to see the band.  Guitarist who at one time or another served in the act include Alan Haynes, Tom Burns,

Bubba John Gould, Alan Stewart, Danny Click, Drew Villegan,  Duck Harris....tons of hot guitar slinging in tons of live music spots...

Three critically acclaimed CD's by the band over 10 years gave the band a proven track record. And while founder drummer Gary Delz

chose not to front his own act, he always surrounded himself with a wealth of musical talent, giving the Power Trio their unique blues
