We have decided to make some changes in the back yard landscaping. The lawn is getting harder and harder to keep up. It uses too much water.
We want something different, not your ordinary back yard. We need to come up with something totally new and exciting. It will take a lot of planning and creativity.
Here Doug is thinking outside the box.
We have had this hanging pot with a cactus plant for over 30 years. It just keeps on
"hanging" in there. Every year, around the first of June, we get this gorgeous display of flowers.
For about 364 days of the year it is just a really ugly, dried out, ordinary cactus plant.
This was its day.
Kenny finally decided to start walking. He gets around pretty good now. Sometimes he gets all excited about wanting to
be some place. He will crawl there faster than he can walk, then he stands up.
Soon he will learn how to run. That's when the fun starts.
Westley, being your average teenage boy, doesn't have much time for little kids.
Nicole is a little shy around strangers. She doesn't know her older cousin all that well.
It's not surprising they don't get along.
This summer when Doug took Courtney to play tennis several people said she looked a lot like Maria Sharapova. I don't
see it myself.
Courtney's eyes are much bluer. She's a real blond. And she's a lot cuter.
This is a new visitor to our back yard. She is usually very shy and comes around only at night. She just ate all
the seeds out of the bird feeder.
Now she's thinking, "That was pretty good. What's for dessert?"
My mom was one of the first in our family
to have her own web site. It's all fancy smancy compared to this one, with lots of graphics and links and stuff.
