DIRECTOR Jesse Jou is an actor-director based in New York City.
He has directed for the TSI Playtime Series ("The Liberace Museum"),
and the American Theater of Actors ("Steve" and the New York
premiere of "Greyhounds"). For the New York Fringe Festival,
he co-directed Fluid Motion Theater and Film's production of "Arsat," based
on a short story by Joseph Conrad. At the Jose Quintero theater, he
produced and directed an evening of Anton Chekhov's vaudevilles, including "The
Bear" and "Drama." He won the Rice University Sammy
Award for Excellence in Theater as Best Student Director for Christopher
Hampton's "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" and for Best Production
for Larry Shue's "The Foreigner." He studied at the American
Academy of Dramatic Arts and the School of Russian Art Theater. |
