Noeline Harris began painting about 1971 when, after the children left the "roost", she experimented with a brush on her back porch patio. She earned an associate degree in commercial art and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa honorary society. She studied at San Miguel de Allende with Master Professor Senor Jaime Pinto. She continues classes in design at the Instituto del Arte in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She also maintains residence in Mexico as well as the Texas Hill Country. She received "Best in Show" awards at Louisiana Tech University during watercolor classes with Doug Walton. She has also assisted Mr. Walton at numerous sketching and painting workshops while in San Miguel, Mexico.
