Taxes,
Your Money

Let me first start by saying that government job is to protect our nation and the citizens, as well as any legal immigrants that live here.  Government should not be in the business of welfare.   They also have the responsibility for looking over the money prudently that they collect in taxes.  The Federal Government also needs to strictly abide by the Constitution of the United States, when it appropriates any monies out of the United States Treasury.

Then we will start with our nation’s security.  I will always support the need to have a strong and modern military.  We need this to keep our country ready to defend it’s self.   With out a strong military we leave our selves open for attack by many a that would like to harm us.   This is money well spent.

On the flip side of the coin we should not be in the business of nation building.  This is something I do not feel the American Citizen should have to pay for.  We have in the past, help rebuilt plenty of nations just to have them turn their back on us when we needed their help, or even became outright enemies.  Please do not misunderstand, if another nation would need our help, we would help but they would need to pay us back so as not to drain our budget and weaken our nation.   Nation rebuilding is not money well spent.

With savings of money from no longer rewarding law breakers (illegal immigrants).  We then could have some sort of social programs, not a lot, like taking medical care of our elderly.  This is one thing I feel we owe to the people that have paid their dues and help build our nation.  We should also work on taking care of our veterans that have put their life on the line for this country and got injured, and need medical care.  Other than those two items, we need to revisit all social programs to make sure there is no abuse.  If so, those abusers would serve jail time. We need to stop this mentality for a hand out on other people’s money.  We need to institute programs that if anything, would give a hand up.  This money spent on these programs would only go to those who could not afford to help themselves.  To reiterate, long as the social progams do not go against the United States Constitution.

We need to stop giving tax breaks to companies that insist on outsourcing and put tariffs on foreign workers.  If big companies can they afford to pay their CEOs in the tens and sometimes hundreds millions of dollars, then they don’t need a tax break.  If we are going to give tax breaks to corporations, give to those that employ Americans and have a record of not laying people off.  This would serve as an incentive for companies to hire Americans.

If we streamline government, stop giving everyone money, and do the things that government should be doing, we can then cut taxes.  We could simplify the tax system, so as to not just put the burden any one class of people.  Hard working American Citizens deserve as much of the money they work for.
