BUILDER: Ben Scott (Loki)
DIVISION: Unknown
HISTORY: Height Rider was designed, built and welded by Ben, who worked both at home in his spare time and at the Junker factory in Hampden. The amount of work done on this bike, such as sanding every inch of paint off the frame and off about seven feet of schedule 40 steel, was impressive to say the very least. It's good to see people build, and build well..

Height Rider is the first really manuverable tall bike. This thing can do most stunts, (they're just a little harder) making things such as curb hopping a breeze.

The bike was made simply by turning a tough stunt bike upside down, welding a three inch seat tube to the top of the bike near the pedals, and then a supporting plate (made of halved, squished crossbar) with holes in it. The seat is connected to two bars, one which slips into the little seat tube, and one which is pegged into the supporting plate. In the end, the seat is only held in by one nail and about two inches of seat tube, but it holds together well. While the supporting seat tube does not even clear the sprocket in height, it does make this tall bike easily transportable.
