BUILDER: Zeus (Zeus)
DIVISION: BRC (BioPsychoKinetic Road Cruiser)
HISTORY:
Ratler was the second chopper ever built by Zeus. It was going for a more
simple design, in which it blissfully succeeded. It sports a nice three
foot fork, with a 20 inch wheel on front, banana seat, ape hanger handlebars,
and a coaster break. The sissy bar is actually two pieces of
sewer pipe drilled with holes.
This chopper was dubbed Ratler after first riding it. Zeus used rat trap metal pedals, which he used a grinder to sharpen to points, with the idea that this would grab into the sole of the shoe better, making it easier to pedal. Of course, it also grabs into the flesh on your legs if you come anywhere near the pedals. So this bike bites. It also has a headset with no bearings, just grease, so it rattles like a bastard. Originally it also had a rattlesnake head and tail, but these fell off during first year rides.
This bike has since been retired.
